On the occasion of Women’s Day on 8th March, Shikshan Ane Samaj Kalyan Kendra, Amreli celebrated Women’s Day at Saraswati Vidyalaya, Chital. On this occasion, the director of the organisation Shri Dhirubhai Vagadia spoke about the pride and dignity of women in the society. Shraddhaben Kathiriya, an activist of the organization, called for the elimination of discrimination against women and for a concerted effort to create awareness about women’s empowerment. On the occasion, Jaswantgadh Sarpanch Ashokbhai Mangroliya, chairperson of the program, with the example of Rani Lakshmibai, informed about the invaluable contribution made by women for the independence of this country and called for women to become self-reliant. Under this program, dentist Dr. Devalben Patel provided scientific understanding for dental care and good habits and answered questions related to teeth. Rameshbhai Solanki gave detailed information about the dental hygiene program. Arjunbhai Zanzarukiya, an activist of the organization, gave detailed information about Child Line 108. The program was attended by women of Chittal-Jaswantgarh village, Asha workers, Anganwadi workers, women teachers and activists of the school. The program was moderated by Rameshbhai Solanki.
