Established in 2016, Sorath Agricultural Producer Company Ltd is a Farmer Producer company that functions under the Companies Act of 2013, wherein shareholding farmers pool resources for better market linkages.

Inception:

To build a prosperous and sustainable agriculture sector by promoting and supporting member-owned producer organizations, that enable farmers to enhance productivity through efficient, cost-effective and sustainable resource use and realize higher returns for their produce, through collective action supported by CSPC, NABARD and Agriculture department. SSKK made efforts and formed groups of farmers in this area. After that organization informed them about FPO. Exposure visits, training and meeting were held and as a result of it farmers of this area formed a company with name ‘Sorath Agriculture Producer Company Limited’ under the companies Act, 2013, with registration No.U01210GJ2016PTC086019 ON 9^th February, 2016.
