Hariraj Charitable Trust

Hariraj Charitable trust has been working since 1993 in the field of education, health and agriculture. Hariraj Charitable Trust got success in various activities like health, education, women empowerment etc. through becoming helpful to society. Organisation’s specialities are in activities and issues related to health, education, women empowerment, SHGs, agriculture and environment. Organisation formed with vision to provide equal chance of livelihood, education and health to youth, women and children and those who are financially backward. Our team is dedicated to do work for social change. Organisation organised training for those people who want to establish their own business. Organisation is also joined in activities of natural resource management and agriculture. Our main strength lies in our experience team thus we can implement our program successfully from grassroots level. During establishment of organization we have started our work in Amreli district for to make change in situation of health and education as per founder’s ideas and vision later on we have included work of primary education and Reproductive and Child Health activities.

We have been discussed to join livelihood program for women after seven years of establishment and started vocational training for women.
Organization also included activities of built house for Agariya who are living on peripheral area of sea, renovation of historical places and educational researches. Now as on experience organization started activities of natural resource management, formation of SHGs for self-employment and Skill Development Trainings. For this work, organization has a strong team. With the help of team we have been performed well in activities like social awareness, education for children, income generation and sexual health etc. Besides this we are working in Amreli and Valsad district’s various Government departments, NABARD and local organisation for development of rural area. We started our work in 22 villages of Khambha block of Amreli district by organized people in small groups as Self Help Group. We are organizing meeting and training for them so that they can start their own business and earn supplementary income and help their family. We have been working in Vaniki Vikas Pariyojana as Resource Organisation Capacity Building Team in Dharampur of Valsad district, this Scheme is running under Forest Department of Government of Gujarat. We have formed Joint Forest Management Committee and Self Help Groups and provided training to them in 36 villages. Efforts have been undertaken in this area for alternative  livelihood through public partnership and cooperation, adopting modern farming methods, reduces the burden of forest and people will get livelihood through farming product.
