Building Resilient and Confident Workshop for Youth and Adolescents

Between 9 and 14 August 2026, SSKK ran a one-day workshop for adolescents and youth in each of six cluster villages — Lathi, Chital, Gondal, Khambha, Dhokadva and Timbi — led by resource persons Akshaybhai Patel and Chandrikaben.

What the day covered

Each session combined a guided meditation and stress-management exercise built around the seven chakras, goal-setting, and discussion of five life areas: Health & Wellness, Wealth & Finance, Education & Skill Development, Relationships & Personal Growth, and Lifestyle & Leisure. Participants watched videos on emerging technology and career and AI tools, then worked in teams to design “problem-solving companies” addressing an issue from their own community, before setting a personal goal to take home.

Who came

  • Lathi — 9 Aug, Head Office, Amreli — 50 participants
  • Chital — 10 Aug, Head Office, Amreli — 50 participants
  • Gondal — 11 Aug, Hotel Walk and Eat — 62 participants
  • Khambha — 12 Aug, Swaminarayan Gurukul — 57 participants
  • Dhokadva — 13 Aug, Hotel Harbhole — 56 participants
  • Timbi — 14 Aug, Hotel Harbhole — 49 participants

324 young people in total, from 70 villages across the six clusters.

This was a single day of exposure, not a leadership course — the kind of first step SSKK’s youth work is built around: put career options, stress management and a team problem to solve in front of a young person before they decide there is nothing here for them.
