Thirty-eight students spent placements with us this year

Twenty-three came from IRMA, now Tribhuvan Sahkari University, and the rest from SPJIMR Mumbai and five Gujarat colleges — to study farming, gender and child rights at field level.

Six bio-input production centres, run by thirty women

Five women to a centre, each with a permanent shed and a vermicompost unit, trained at the College of Natural Farming and KVK Amreli. Other farmers have since asked to set up their own.

172 women attended legal guidance sessions on the Domestic Violence Act

Held through the 16 Days of Activism. The Act has existed since 2005; what is usually missing is any accurate knowledge of what it entitles a woman to.

Two phases of Learning & Innovation Workshops in October and November — technology-based learning, health and hygiene, yoga, teamwork and design thinking, taught through games and models built from paper and straws.

Forty-five women farmers marked National Women Farmers Day at Amreli

Sessions on Jeevamrut, Agniastra and soil health, a visit to the GNFSU model farm, and an exhibition of what the women themselves produce.

Twenty-six check dams renovated, and the water table rose 5.73 feet

The walls were already standing. What had been lost was the storage behind them — roughly 10 lakh cubic metres, recovered by desilting and deepening across 139 villages.
